Hong Kong stocks close 0.14% lower

 Dealers said that Hong Kong stocks closed 0.14 percent lower on Tuesday on a lack of direction from Wall Street and as traders took profits following recent strong gains.

Chinese shares closed up 0.60 percent at a more than seven-month high, lifted by gains in environmental firms on hopes they will benefit from Beijing's efforts to control pollution.
