  4. In Cookies and Site Data section, select Clear Data.
  5. Remove the checkmark of Cookies and Site Data.
  6. With marked Cached Web Content section, click the Clear button.
  7. Close about page all settings will be saved automatically.

Click the Library button, click History and then click on Clear Recent History. Next to the time range to clear, select everything from the drop-down menu. Now a window opens that has many items like cache, cookies, history and login passwords, etc. If you want clear any other things with cache then mark it. After that click on Clear Now and all your settings will be saved automatically.

We can set to clear Firefox cache whenever the browser closes.

  1. Click the menu button.
  2. Click on the Options menu.
  3. From sidebar select Select Privacy and Security and then click on the history section.
  4. In the drop-down menu of Firefox will select Use custom settings for history.
  5. Click on the setting button that is in front of Clear history when Firefox closes.
  6. The setting for the Clearing History dialogue box will open.
  7. In a dialogue box mark cache.
  8. Click Ok to save the setting.
  9. Close about page all settings will be saved automatically.

Keep in mind before clearing the cache that it can remove data. E.g.. such as saved passwords, address bar predictions and shopping cart content, etc.
