Gasoline prices on the rise
Southland gasoline prices posted their first weekly double-digit spike of the year Thursday as they edged closer to $4 per gallon.
Jeffrey Spring of the Automobile Club of Southern California attributed the climbing prices to the usual culprits - high oil prices, Middle East tensions, local refinery incidents and refineries being brought down for maintenance as they prepare to produce their summer blend of gas.
