Mexico is taking every step to unshackle fishing nets; Saving world's smallest vaquita porpoise

Panda of the Sea,"Vaquita porpoise is in alarming situation." 

Sea life authorities and scientists are apprehending fishing nets to save the world's smallest porpoise. They started to work on this process when Vaquita porpoise were predicted to extinct by 2022.


Mexicans have successfully extirpated more than 100 nets that were captured floating in the sea. 

Local fishermen and environmental activist really helped to drag 11,814 km (7,340 miles) in the Gulf of California, which is the only area where the vaquita porpoise are found to live gaily.

The alarming situation to porpoise are the actually those nets that are badly used to illegally hunt totoaba for its swim bladder - alluring tens of thousands of dollars on the black market in China.
