Insatiable Amphibians are Dispersing across the British Columbia Island’s Landscape

Catch of an enormous bullfrog in Vancouver Island has proved the fact that avid amphibians are increasing across the British Columbia Island’s landscape. Russ Schut was fishing in Sproat Lake with a bobber and worm; he was towed in 2 foot long American bullfrog but released it after taking a photograph without knowing that it belonged to a hostile species. American bullfrogs weigh up to 1.5 pounds and grow to about 7 inches. According to the Alberni Valley Times, they are voracious and big. National geographic told that American bullfrogs can lay more than 20,000 eggs with tadpoles reaching lengths of 7 inches. A group of Bullfrog, colony or army, feed mainly at night, trapping prey by attacking with their influential hind legs.
