Clostridium difficile vulnerable to antibiotics
A bacterium called Clostridium difficile is type of bacteria
causing diarrhea especially in adults. According to a study strains of Clostridium
difficile became resistant to antibiotic due to the reason they were able to
spread in the hospitals world over.
Researchers tested different samples of infection from different
countries and found that the genetic code of this bacterium mutates rapidly,
the main reason of its rapid spread. Strains like FQR1 and FQR2 started to
spread from America and Canada to Switzerland and other countries.
